Roger Dorresteijn is a key figure in the international development of independent music as the managing director of Epitaph Europe. His career is closely linked to this legendary label, founded in Los Angeles by Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion) and responsible for the 90s punk explosion. True to the company's philosophy of putting artists first and helping them record on their own terms, Roger joined the European headquarters in Amsterdam in 1996. After consolidating his experience in the recording industry, he took on the general management of the branch in 2010. From this strategic position, he comprehensively oversees all marketing and promotional campaigns for the Epitaph catalog across both the United Kingdom and the rest of the European continent.
