Miguel Ángel García Garrido

Miguel Ángel García Garrido is the founder and director of Charco Música, a pioneering platform for the internationalization of Ibero-American artists since 2012. With over two decades of experience, he has produced tours across Asia, Europe, the United States, and Latin America, working with major figures such as Fito Páez, Gilberto Gil, Mon Laferte, Babasónicos, and WOS. Throughout his career, he has established a key cultural bridge between Spain and Latin America through a management model that integrates booking, management, and consultancy. He is the founder and promoter of festivals such as "Río Babel"—one of the first large-scale Ibero-American festivals in Europe—and the "Charco" festival, and has served as a programmer and curator for events including BIME, Cosquín Rock, Sonorama, and the Barcelona Grec Festival.
