Pepe Dorado is the president of the JazzCádiz Festival Association, a role he holds following a professional career as a merchant mariner. His connection to music dates back to the late 1980s, when he worked with the independent importer Radical Records, and continued in 1998 as a concert promoter in the Bay of Cádiz. A pioneering member of the El Musicario Association, he began collaborating in 2012 with JazzCádiz, a festival where he now serves as president, artistic co-director, and head of sponsorship and production. In addition to his institutional work, he manages groups such as the Latin jazz band Tumbando a Monk and the projects Veículo Longo and Aires "el Dúo".
