After completing his degrees in Cultural Studies and a Master\u2019s in Cultural and Media Management in D\u00fcsseldorf, Nantes, and Hamburg, Timo worked for music and cultural festivals, the Hamburg institute for cultural management, and the digital distributor finetunes. In addition to his role at Hamburg Music, where he has been since 2010, he runs Aalhaus\u2014a bar and live music club in Hamburg where he is also responsible for booking and promotion. In 2016, he founded the \"Music Cities Network\", a transnational non-profit association uniting music cities and policymakers around the globe.
