After beginning his professional career in the realm of theater companies, Stéphane Krasniewski joined the team at the Les Suds, à Arles festival over two decades ago, working alongside its founder, Marie-José Justamond. Initially in charge of administration, his collaborative approach led him to become actively involved in artistic programming and the design of new projects. His deep knowledge of the event and the sector culminated in his appointment as festival director in 2019. In addition to his leadership at this prominent French musical gathering, Stéphane has a strong institutional profile: he currently holds the presidency of the Syndicat des Musiques Actuelles (SMA) and serves as an artistic advisor for the prestigious professional event Babel Music XP.
