Pau Rodríguez Mayor is a multifaceted professional who seamlessly combines his solid career as a musician with his work as a psychologist. In the artistic realm, he is widely recognized as half of the acclaimed duo Za! and a member of the Orquesta del Caballo Ganador, while simultaneously launching his new solo project, Defensa Lenta. Over the last two decades, he has toured stages across all five continents and performed at world-renowned festivals such as Primavera Sound, Sónar, SXSW, and Eurosonic. Furthermore, he leads improvisation workshops and directs community art projects. In his clinical practice, he works as a psychotherapist, supervisor, and trainer, also providing counseling to musical collectives. Notably, in 2021, he self-managed the first major study on the pandemic's impact on the mental health of musicians in Spain (#MusicaSaludMental), achieving significant coverage in national media.
