Milena Fessmann has been running her own weekly radio program, "Free Falling", since 1998, alongside her extensive work as a DJ and presenter on Radio Eins (RBB). In 1989, she founded CINESONG and has since worked as a music supervisor on more than 500 films and series, including acclaimed titles such as "All Quiet on the Western Front", "Perfect Days", and Pablo Larraín's "Maria". She frequently hosts events and panels at the Reeperbahn Festival, c/o Pop, and Soundtrack Cologne. A political science graduate, she teaches seminars on music supervision at institutions like the DFFB and BIMM Berlin and is a member of the European Film Academy. In 2012, she founded the production company Sugar Town Filmproduktion, whose projects include the documentary "The Potential of Noise – Conny Planck" and the 2025 release "Just Do It: She-Punks from 1977 to Today", documenting women in the German-speaking punk and new wave scenes.
