Mar Rubiralta is the director of Balaio Producciones, a management and booking agency she founded in 2005 following an initial career in advertising production. Her focus lies in recovering and updating traditional music codes to blur boundaries and genres, creating original spaces far from commercial labels. Through projects that reimagine the future from the present, she has supported the careers of artists such as Coetus, Aziza Brahim, Mû Mbana, Aca Seca Trío, and Barbatuques. Currently, she is responsible for the management and booking of acts including "Aïta mon amour", Terrae, "Aïchoucha", Libèrica, "Ra di spina", Barrut, and Walid Ben Selim. With her projects, she has toured international stages in countries such as Canada, Brazil, Cuba, India, Guinea Bissau, Japan, and Colombia, as well as major European cities.
