With over fifteen years of experience in the music industry, Lola Lapiower currently heads the booking agency at Nyege Nyege. In this role, she leads the team and oversees international touring and production for one of the most exciting rosters in the world: an extraordinarily diverse catalog that brings together emerging and established artists from Africa and its diaspora. Prior to this, she spent seven years as part of Baloji's management team. Founded in Kampala in 2013, Nyege Nyege is today one of the most influential cultural platforms on the African continent. This comprehensive project, which encompasses a festival, record labels, artist residencies, and the booking agency itself, is dedicated to championing experimental, electronic, and traditional African music on a global scale.
