Derek Van Den Bulcke is the creative director of Luz Sonora, a booking and management agency operating at the intersection of roots music, flamenco, and avant-garde electronica. As an audiovisual and sound artist, his career intertwines the richness of flamenco with contemporary art. He has collaborated on multidisciplinary projects with dance figures such as Rocío Molina, Niño de Elche, Juan Carlos Lérida, and Fuensanta La Moneta. In the visual and musical spheres, he has worked with renowned artists such as La Plazuela, Niña Pastori, Dellafuente, Soleá and Kiki Morente, Salma OT, and the collective Califato 3/4, in addition to creating music for designers like Leandro Cano.
