David Torreblanca joined the Montreux Jazz Festival (MJF) in 2004. He now leads the entire programme in his role as Head of Booking and leads the festival's operations as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Over the years, he has orchestrated some of the MJF's most daring events, such as Elton John's 2019 concert on a bespoke stage at the Stade de la Saussaz and the Scène du Lac in 2021, in the midst of the pandemic. During the renovation of the 2m2c, he has led off-site operations for the 58th and 59th editions and has resumed management of the MJF franchises in Switzerland (Cafés, Club, Loft, and the SIXTYSEVEN agency). He is currently preparing for the festival's return to the newly renovated 2m2c building, marking a new chapter in Montreux's history.
