She is currently the director of Soundway Records and Soundway Publishing, the prestigious London-based independent label where she has worked for fourteen years. Seven years ago, she partnered with founder Miles Cleret to shape the future of this imprint, which specializes in reissuing musical gems from the 60s to the 80s from Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Asia. As a selector, Paula possesses a sharp instinct for the dancefloor, combining her extensive experience as an A&R with immersive sets that explore rhythms ranging from cumbia and afrobeat to balearic and tribal house.
