Born in Barcelos, Portugal, Márcio Laranjeira has an academic background from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, the Chelsea School of Art and Design, and the University of Coimbra. Linked to Lovers & Lollypops since 2009, he is responsible for the programming and management of festivals such as Tremor, Square, and Barlos, as well as the European network Edge. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with institutions like Casa da Música and the Municipality of Porto. As an artist agent, he represents acts from the label's roster, including Boogarins, Sessa, and Avalanche Kaito. Alongside this, he teaches in the Music Industry Management postgraduate program at IPC, serves as a tutor for the European JUMP program, and coordinates the Music Business course at Arda Academy in Porto since 2019.
